Hi Friend! I'm Carmen!
I’m the creative, Lead Designer and Owner of both The Cutting Garden and the Fond Collective. With over 35 years experience in the Wedding & Event Industry, I started out in the floral industry after studying Interior Design and ventured off to open my first flower shop at the young age of 21. I am wildly passionate about taking your vision and bringing it to life through creative designs and stunning florals that will leave your guests talking about your event for months to come.

The Cutting Garden is an award winning and premier floral studio that specializes in full service floral design. I help take your vision board and give it life through thoughtful planning and experienced designs.
The Fond Collective is my collection of rental items ranging from centerpiece decor, to backdrops, to place settings and table scapes. Event design doesn’t just stop at the florals - bring your color palette to life with every detail of your event!
More than just rental pieces and floral, I want you to know that you have a team on your side through the whole process to help bounce ideas, plan out the little details and dream about your special day with you!
The process

CONSULTATION
I would love to invite you to my studio to discuss your vision for your big day! Bring your color palette, design inspirations, and anything else I should know about your big day! I would plan around an hour. Use the link to our calendar to schedule your consultation today!

BOOKING
I will send over a custom proposal with the next steps to getting your floral quote locked in!

Planning
We do a final details meeting one month before the wedding to discuss your final guest count, make final quote adjustments before I order flowers, and discuss any rental items you would like to add.

THE BIG DAY
My team will be there to set up and make sure every little detail is just how you dreamed it would be. We will be back at the end of the night to gather our things so you don’t have to lift a finger or stress over set up or take down!

Delivery & SET UP
FOR WEEKDAY EVENTS: DELIVERY WITHIN THE TWIN CITIES AREA STARTS AT $50 AND IS AVAILABLE BETWEEN 9 AM - 5 PM. DELIVERY OUTSIDE OF THE TWIN CITIES AREA IS OFFERED ON AVAILABILITY AND EVENT LOCATION. SET UP IS AN EXTRA FEE THAT STARTS AT $300 AND IS DEPENDENT ON NEEDS AND ORDER SIZE. ANY SET UP, FLIP OR TEAR DOWN REQUIRED AFTER THE INITIAL SET UP, AN ADDITIONAL $300 WILL BE CHARGED.
FOR WEEKEND, HOLIDAY AND EVENING (AFTER 5 PM) EVENTS: WE CAN DISCUSS YOUR NEEDS DURING YOUR CONSULTATION BASED ON AVAILABILITY AND LOCATION.
YOU ARE ALSO WELCOME TO PICK UP YOUR ARRANGEMENTS FROM OUR STUDIO/WAREHOUSE IN COTTAGE GROVE. WE'RE OPEN FOR PICK UP MONDAY - FRIDAY FROM 8AM-5PM.
